VET in Schools – Fitness Career Pathways for Year 11 & 12 Students

SRPT Education, in partnership with Strike Training and Consulting (RTO 41500), delivers nationally recognised fitness qualifications to secondary school students through a fully supported, employer-integrated model designed specifically for the VET in Schools program.

Our Qualifications

Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30321)

Ideal for Year 11 or 12 students seeking a foundation in fitness instruction, client support, and program delivery.

Duration: 12 months + 3-month grace period
Delivery: Online theory + 10 hours of practical placement
Recommended for: Year 11 or 12 students
Outcome: Prepares students for gym floor roles and fitness support work

Payment Plan: $50/week – No deposit required

Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40221)

Designed for Year 12 students ready to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer. This course includes the required Certificate III units for those starting from scratch.

Duration: 12 months + 3-month grace period
Delivery: Online theory + 35 hours of practical placement
Recommended for: Year 12 students only
Outcome: Prepares students for one-on-one PT and small group training
